Billy "Bill" Dean Woods, age 62, of Lamar, Missouri passed away August 15, 2020, at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Missouri.
Bill was born January 26, 1958 in Lamar, Missouri to Billy Boy and Audrey Marie (Metcalf) Woods. Bill graduated from Lamar High School in 1976 and was a graduate of MSU.
Bill worked as a purchasing agent for O'Sullivan Industries for 20 years. He loved hunting, fishing, golf, baseball and football. He was a member of Metro Club and the Eagles Lodge.
Survivors include a son, Brent Woods and daughter, Brooke Woods both of Lamar, two sisters; Glenna (Brian) Yike and Tina (Gene) Dearing all of Liberal, MO, two grandchildren; Josylin Marie Woods and Jonathan Collins.
Preceding Bill in death were his parents and a son, Drew Michael Woods on August 12, 2020.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2020 with the family receiving friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time at Daniel Funeral Home, Lamar, Missouri.
