Betty was born on October 12, 1935 in Joplin, the daughter of the late Alvin and Roxie (Barnes) Hembree. She has been a lifetime area resident. She married Jack Seward on May 25, 1952 and together they were blessed with four daughters. Betty was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
