Dennis was born to Richard and Geraldine (Divine) Stump, February 7, 1960 at Lamar Memorial Hospital. He was a graduate of Golden City High School class of 1978. He married Tina Keatts on April 29,1990 and together they had three children; Sarah, Kelly Jo and Braden.
Dennis worked at Golden Business Forms for 25 years. He officiated High School sports which included volleyball, football, basketball, baseball and softball for many years. He and his wife hosted 13 different foreign exchange students the last 10 years. He enjoyed going to swap meets and casinos. Dennis was an avid sports fan, cheering on the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Kansas City Chiefs. Dennis was also a founding member of the Golden City Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years Tina; a daughter, Sara Wilson and husband Jonathan of Jerico Springs, Missouri with their two children Josephine and Carter; a son, Braden of the home; his mother, Geraldine Stump of Golden City; his brothers, Leon (Lori) Stump and Roy (Shannon) Stump all of Golden City along with many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Preceding Dennis in death were his daughter, Kelly Jo; his sister, Gayle Stump and his father Richard Stump.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 21, 2020, at Daniel Funeral Home with burial to follow in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Golden City, MO.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Daniel Funeral Home.
