Bob Hagood

Robert E. Hagood was born February 9, 1933 in Norman, Oklahoma, the son of Royal and Mary (Atteway) Hagood. He entered into rest on August 23, 2020 at his home in Neosho, following an extended illness at the age of 87. 

Bob attended school at Goodman High School and in November 1951, enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served until his retirement in January 1972. Following his retirement from the U.S. Air Force, he worked as an industrial electrician. He enjoyed fishing, walking long distances and was an avid golfer. He played golf courses all over the United States and was a longtime member of the Neosho Men's Golf Association. 

Bob married Betty (Nims) on October 10, 1952 and she preceded him in death on February 9, 1990. He then married Sharon Adams and she preceded him in death in 2015. 

He is survived by two children, Barbara (Mike) Snow of Neosho and Robert Hagood, Pioneer, Missouri; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; stepdaughter, Christy Brooks and her son, Josh of Russellville, Arkansas. 

He is also preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Sue Hagood, one sister and four brothers.

At his request, Bob will be cremated and no services are planned. Contributions in memory of Bob may be made to the Missouri Veteran's Home, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66; Neosho, MO 64850.
