(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Alice Townsend, 64, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2020 at her home in Diamond, MO. Alice was born April 14, 1956 in Springfield, MO to Troy Compton and Leona Lindsay.
Alice was a homemaker, with a degree in interior design, which was her passion. She also enjoyed fishing, animals and mowing.
Alice lived with Rick Stephens as husband and wife for 14 years; he survives.

Alice is also survived by two daughters, Amanda McIntyre (James) of Independence, MO and Mae Tate (Brad) of Ava, MO; two brothers, Troy Lee “Bubby” Compton and Larry Compton; one sister, Linda Heilaman, all of Springfield, MO; five grandchildren, Audrey, Jameson, Braydon “Buster”, Devin and Sierra.
A visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, October 30th at Ulmer Funeral Home. Burial will be at Stone Cemetery in Diamond, MO.
