Jack Davidson

Jack E. Davidson, 74, Neosho, MO, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Freeman Hospital ICU COVID-19 Unit, Joplin, MO. Jack was born to the late Charles E. and Virginia (Fulkerson) Davidson on June 15, 1946. 

Jack attended school at Stella, MO and graduated in 1964. Jack and Emma Aline (Heman) were married October 23, 1971 at Jones Chapel Baptist Church, Stella, MO. Jack was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Neosho, MO. 

 Jack was retired from Automotive Sales and always enjoyed cars. He also worked as a Fleet Manager and Finance Manager. Jack belonged to the Heartland Antique Car Club and served as President for four years. He enjoyed the car club and met many lifelong friends. Jack loved NASCAR and enjoyed attending the races and dirt track races. Jack found great joy spending time with family, especially with attending his children’s and grandchildren’s school activities. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

 

Surviving are his wife; one son, Stan Davidson and wife Marti of Nixa, MO; one daughter Dorann Bradbury of Joplin, MO; one brother, Richard Davidson and wife Cynthia of Neosho, MO; one sister Jody Gofourth and husband Bob of Joplin, MO; three grandchildren, Taylor Davidson, Devin Davidson and Augustus Bradbury; and many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin sister, Jane Ann Bandy. 

Funeral Services will be Friday, October 30, 2020 at 10:00am at Fellowship Baptist Church, Neosho, MO. Rev. Buddy Funk will be officiating. Jack’s final resting place will be at Macedonia Cemetery, Stella, MO. 

 Due to the contagious nature of COVID-19, masks will be required and social distancing will be implemented for those attending the funeral service. The family will also be foregoing the traditional receiving line at the conclusion of the service. 

 The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Fellowship Baptist Church Building Fund in remembrance of Jack E. Davidson, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO BOX 66, Neosho, MO 64850.
