Ruth Myers age 92 of Webb City, Missouri passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin. She was born on April 11, 1928 in Belle Plaine, Kansas to Fred Green and Nancy (White) Green.
Ruth worked at Elder’s Shirt Factory in Webb City for 20 years, and was a minister at Lakeside Full Gospel for many years. Ruth is a member of Joplin Full Gospel.
She was married to Reverend Joseph Myers and he preceded her in death on October 17, 2000.
Ruth is survived by her sons, Dan Bass, Michael Neely; sisters, Freeda Kalua, Joann Lewis; grandchildren, Heather Jensen, Dallas Neely, Derek Neely, Danny Bass; great grandchildren, Ryan Bass, Darrian Bass; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will have a memorial service on November 7, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Joplin Full Gospel Church with Pastor Josh Patrick officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City. Visit www.simpsonfh.com for online condolences.
