(From Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home)Mr. Brian Lee Williamson, 55, of Sarcoxie, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri after a sudden illness.
Brian was born on January 4, 1965 in Carthage, Missouri to the union of Jimmie Doil and Beverly Jean (Lee) Williamson. Brian was a lifelong area resident. For many years he worked as a farm laborer. He enjoyed hunting, spending time with his family and friends, and was quite a car enthusiast. He will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; father, Jimmie Doil Williamson; and granddaughter Gracelynn Williamson.
Brian is survived by his wife Bobby; children, Jacob Jordan Williamson, of Sarcoxie, Tyler Austin Williamson, of Joplin, Brittiany Lynn Williamson, of LaRussell and John Doil Williamson, of Sarcoxie; his mother, Beverly Williamson of Sarcoxie; siblings, James Dee Williamson, of Avilla, Vanessa Jean Reid and husband, Wesley, of Jasper and Doil Ann Williamson, of Sarcoxie; several nieces and nephew; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services for Brian are 12:00 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2020 at Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home in Sarcoxie, Missouri with Pastor Mitch Boggs officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be directed in Suicide Awareness in care of the funeral home.
