Donnie Lowery

Donnie Curtis Aaron “Bubby” Lowery, 38, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021.

Donnie was born March 30, 1982 in Joplin, Missouri to the late Donnie Ivon Lowery and Sherry Ann Rigg. Donnie lived in the Joplin area all of his life. He was self-employed as a general labor contractor.

Donnie was a true craftsman he was able to build anything. He enjoyed the outdoors and had a laugh that was contagious. He had a loving and caring heart and his smile could light up the room. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Donnie was united in marriage to Jennifer McGonigle on July 20, 2020 in Joplin, Missouri. She survives at the home.

Donnie was preceded in death by his father, Donnie Ivon Lowery on June 7, 2019.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer; children, Kaden Lafleur, Kaylee Lowery, Donnie Lowery, Lucas Lowery and Lyrik Snyder; mother, Sherry Ann Courtney and husband, Bill; step-mother, Audra Lowery; siblings, Chahara Lowery, Marqie Smith and wife, Cheryl, Courtney Swartz and husband, Brendon, Cindy Lowery, Michael Lowery; step-children, Aleigha Hatfield and Xander McGonigle; nieces and nephews, Blake Ogle, Bella Lowery, Hudson Swartz and Marzella Swartz, double cousin, Angie Bailey; together with several extended family members and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Bruce Redden officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday evening from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
