(From Clark Funeral Home)Alan Del Armstrong, age 61, of Garfield, AR passed away on December 10, 2021, at Mercy Hospital, in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was born April 17, 1960, in Gravette, Arkansas, the son of the late Delbert Dallas and Twilla Sue (Loftis) Armstrong.
Alan graduated from Crowder College with an associate degree in welding. He worked as a millwright at Mac Steel in Fort Smith, Arkansas and retired as a maintenance supervisor from St. Mary’s Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas. He enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time on Sugar Creek and being with his family.
He is survived by his two daughters, Melissa (Rob) Tucker and Thressa (Jeff) Loyd of Pocola, Oklahoma; one son, Mike (Charlene) Armstrong of Webb City, Missouri; brother-in-law, Jon Strahl (the late Debbie) of Springfield, Missouri; and eleven grandchildren.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00-5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, in the Clark Funeral Home in Neosho, Missouri. Private family burial will be held at Union Cemetery at a later date.
