Judy Lewis

Judy Lee Lewis, 79, of Grove, Oklahoma, formerly of Carthage, Missouri, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021 at the home of daughter, surrounded by her loving family.

Judy was born on Sunday, October 4, 1942 in La Junta, Colorado, to the union of the late Walter Henry and Esther Mae (Knight) Dugan. She was a graduate of Derby High School, Derby, Kansas. Judy loved fishing and spending time at the lake. She so cherished the visits and gatherings with her family and friends. She will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved her.








She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Lewis; two children, David McCoy, Jr., and Mary Box; siblings, Carol Dugan, Walter Dugan and James Dugan.

Judy is survived by her children, Edward Hebb, Jr. and wife Laura, of Mineral Wells, Texas and Linda and Aaron White of Grove, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Michael Ross and wife, Cristie, of Sarcoxie, Missouri, Johnna Hebb of Mineral Wells, Texas, Josh Ross, of Diamond, Missouri, Edward T. Hebb and wife, Linda, of Wooster, Ohio, Patrick McCoy of Lancaster, Ohio, Renee Box of Joplin, Missouri, Stephanie Smith and husband, Daniel, of Bay St. louis, Mississippi, A.J. Box, of Columbus, Kansas and Evan Hebb of Mineral Wells, Texas; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Meta Blue and Patty Carter and husband, Dennis, all of Newton, Kansas and many nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

In-lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association in care of the funeral home. Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home in Sarcoxie, Missouri.
