Phyllis King

Phyllis Andrea King, age 73, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, formerly of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 9:35 a.m. on Monday, November 29, 2021, at her home. She was born June 4, 1948, in Blair, Oklahoma, the daughter of Foy Earl and Lois Christine (Byrd) Hall.

Phyllis was a 1966 graduate of Carthage High School, in Carthage, Missouri and retired from AT&T after 35 years. After retiring from AT&T she worked as the administrative assistant for the Lawrence County, Public Administrator for nine years. She was a member of Mt. Vernon First Baptist Church.








Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Amanda Perry of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one son, Tony Perry and his wife, Karol, of Webb City, Missouri; five grandchildren, Jacob Perry of Webb City, Missouri, Braxton Perry and his wife, Megan, of Webb City, Missouri, Andrea Perry of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Javeon and Antonio Perry, of Mt. Vernon; three great-grandchildren, Riot Perry, Rayve Perry and Oliviya McDaniel; one brother, Kem Hall and his wife, Mary, of Mt. Vernon; one sister, Lisa Hyde and her husband, Paul, of Clever, Missouri and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Lois and brother, David Hall.

A visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon with a funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
