(From Lawson's Funeral Home)John William Sirmans, age 61, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, November 4, 2022 at his residents in Jay, OK.
John was born on February 27, 1961, in Pampa, Texas to Johnny K. Sirmans and Rosella Olive Sutton-Sirmans.
John attended Jay High School, Jay, OK. After school John spent his time working as a Semi-Truck Driver which he loved doing.
John greatly enjoyed reading westerns, playing video games, watching sci-fi and scary movies. He loved going fishing with James England and Ron Springer, teasing his nephews and grandkids. Enjoyed cookouts and attending his grandkids birthday parties, school activities and spending time with the people he loved.
John really enjoyed going to his daughter Amanda’s house for family gatherings. If there was a birthday cake there, you can bet John and Amanda was going to have a cake fight, they loved to tease each other. John enjoyed talking to his son Ruben about the ends and outs of driving a truck. John was the type of guy that if his family or friends needed anything he was there to help in any way he could. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
John is preceded in death by his parents Johnny K. Sirmans and Rosella O. Sutton.
John is survived by his loving wife of 21 years Juanita Sirmans of the home; daughter Amanda Page-Ervin and husband Steve Ervin of Zena, OK, sons Ruben Page and wife Agnes Page of Goodman, MO, Brandon Page of Canadian, TX, Joseph Sirmans and Jerimah Sirmans of Jay, OK; sisters Mary King of Jay, OK and Patrica Blevins and husband Lee of Jay, OK; brother Olen Sirmans of Summer, TX; his grandchildren he loved with all his heart Miley Jo England, Katelyn Ervin, Kyra Page, Xoe Page, Nathanael Page; numerous nephews, nieces, cousin, extended family and friends.
John’s Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held in the Spring of 2023.
Arrangements are entrusted to Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray St., Jay, OK 74346 with Shaunda J. Lawson, 3rd Generation Owner/Funeral Director and Staff.
