Ryan Zallar

Mr. Ryan R. Zallar, 38, of Carl Junction, Missouri, departed this life suddenly on Monday, November 7, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.

Ryan entered this life on July 23, 1984, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, son of Gerald and Julie (Lemke) Ball. He moved to Carl Junction, Missouri at the age of sixteen and was a 2002 graduate of Carl Junction High School. He furthered his education at Crowder College, receiving an associate’s degree in business and accounting.








On July 12, 2011, he was united in marriage to Lauren Kelley and to this union four daughters and one son were born, Emma, Pressli, Remi, Phynnlee and Ryan Jr. Ryan was a hardworking entrepreneur, he owned and operated fifteen Verizon Stores under his company name, E&P Wireless. 

He enjoyed golfing, roller coasters, BBQ’s, snow days with his children and his beloved Dallas Cowboys.








Ryan is survived by his wife, Lauren Zallar of the home; five children, Emma, Pressli, Remi, Phynnlee and Ryan Zallar, Jr., all of the home; his parents, Gerald and Julie Ball of Carl Junction; two brothers, Dylan Hofert and wife, Rachel, of Swan, Iowa and Peter Hillbrand and fiancé, Kaleigh Reynolds, of Houston, Texas; one sister-in-law, Makenzie Goswick; his maternal grandmother, Norma Lemke of Dilworth, Minnesota; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Forest Park Baptist Church in Joplin with Derrick Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Osborne Memorial Cemetery. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Peter Hillbrand, Shawn Werberger, Gerald Ball, Kelly O’Brien, Jay Robinson, Blake Reynolds, Allen Ogden and Dylan Hofert. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5-7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parker Mortuary in Joplin. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary in Joplin, Missouri.
