Charlie Toler

(From Greenfield Funeral Chapel)

Charles Eugene Toler, of Dadeville, Missouri, went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 24, 2023 at the age of 38. He was born October 1, 1984 to David and Shana Toler. Charles was baptized into Christ and was a life-long member of the First Christian Church of Dadeville.

Charles was united in marriage to Terron Blake Nimmo on February 27, 2016. This loving union was blessed with three beautiful babes—daughter Charleigh, and sons Keith and Blake. They were Charlie’s whole world.

Charles graduated from Dadeville High School in 2003 and was a proud member of their 2003 final four basketball team. He graduated from Pittsburg State University in 2007 having studied automotive technology.

He worked as a field mechanic with MODot for fifteen years, but he began turning wrenches with his granddad when he was a boy. He loved working on the farm, hunting and fishing, and celebrating everything. He coached baseball and basketball with as much enthusiasm and heart as he did when he played. He was an active member in his church and community, serving as assistant fire-chief for Dadeville Fire Protection District.

Charles is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Charles Grandon; grandparents, Keith and Louise Toler; and aunt and uncles, Tom, Lee, and Linda Toler.

He is survived by his wife, Terron, and children Charleigh, Keith, and Blake of the home; in-laws, Barbara and Terry Nimmo of Springfield, MO; his parents, David and Shana Toler of Greenfield, MO; sister, Jessie Toler and Rachel Schletzbaum of Dadeville, MO; grandparents, Darrell and Donna Dodd of Dadeville, MO; nieces, Sarah (husband Tanner), Sabrena, and Harleigh; nephews, Gaige, Joe, Gunner, Tyler, Drew, and Colby; and two great-nephews, Kayden and Brodee. Charles also leaves his aunt, Charlene Toler of Greenfield, MO; uncle and aunt, Wesley and Shelly Dodd of Dadeville, MO; many loving cousins; a host of dear friends too numerous to count; and a heart-broken community. If you knew Charlie, he was your friend.

We have an unmeasurable emptiness in our hearts, but the brothers and sisters in our communities have wrapped us up in the love of Jesus. We will always treasure the love you have shared with us.

Show your love for him by wearing a John Deere, Carhartt, Cardinals, Chiefs, or Dadeville t-shirt to the services.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 31, 2023, at Main Street Baptist Church in Greenfield. Burial will follow in the Dadeville Masonic Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Main Street Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his children’s education fund. Please make checks payable to Terron Toler. Services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
