(From Parker Mortuary)Christopher David Colόn, age 31, Joplin, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 in Joplin.
Christopher was born February 5, 1992 in Joplin, and grew up in Joplin where he attended Joplin Schools. He was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church where he enjoyed being in the “Good Dads” program.
He had a love for hotrods, and working on these cars, especially installing the custom stereo systems. He loved God and working with the church on different projects and attending sobriety programs. He was a lot of fun to be around and will be missed by many.
Survivors include his father, Carlos Colón and his mother, Deborah Franklin both of Joplin; his children, Markus, Marshall, Liam, Serenity, Jameson, and Charlotte; brothers, Jeromy Colόn and Anthony Colόn; sister, Shonna Colón; six nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Britton Fields officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service at Parker Mortuary.
Cremation arrangements are under the care of Parker Mortuary.
