(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Kenneth W Edens, age 74 of Joplin, Missouri passed away Saturday July 22, 2023, at his home with his family at his side.
He was born October 5, 1948, in Neosho, Missouri to Earl Edens and Bernice Stockton.
Kenneth was a foreman at Wright’s Tree Service. His favorite pastimes included restoring old cars and attending car shows where he even won trophies. He also enjoyed walking around swap meets and having cookouts with the family.
Kenneth had a special passion for his old Chevrolets, one being his 1952 Chevy, but most of all he enjoyed spending time reminiscing about old times. He also spent vacations in Florida with his family every chance he got.
Kenneth is survived by his wife Jolene Edens, his daughter Lorie Gaddis, his two sons Danny and Gary Edens, his grandchildren Garrett, Austin, Morgan, Natasha, Justus, and Shad Edens, Jordon and Kaylee Gaddis, also two great granddaughters Everly and Novaleigh.
He is Preceded in death by his Father Earl Edens and Mother Bernice Stockton, three brothers Larry, Bob and Freddie Edens, three sisters Charolett Rinehart, Joyce Simpson, Geneva Edens and daughter Theresa Edens.
He will be missed by many who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm Thursday August 3, 2023 at Hilldale Baptist Church RR 5, Neosho, MO.
