(From Ozark Funeral Home)Mrs. Lorraine Kay Oler, 57 of Anderson, Missouri departed this life on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at St. Lukes Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas.
Lorraine was born June 1, 1966 in Augsburg, Germany to Alvin and Maylene (Armstrong) Blevins. She grew up in the Anderson area and graduated from Victory Road Christian Academy at the age of 16. She then attended nursing school graduating at the age of 19. She worked as a nurse for 38 years.
Lorraine was united in marriage to Stephen Franklin Oler on June 4, 1998 in Tulsa, OK and to this union two children were born. Lorraine enjoyed knitting, cooking, spinning yarn and renaissance fairs.
Lorraine is survived by her husband of 25 years Stephen Oler of the home. A son; Tiernan Oler of Anderson, a daughter; Ashley Brinkley of Anderson, a brother; Lee Blevins, a sister; Shannon Robertson and husband Les Robertson of Goodman, Missouri as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss her.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lorraine Kay Oler will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at the Ozark Funeral Home Chapel in Anderson, Missouri with Pastor Ben Lukens officiating. Burial will follow in the Cummings cemetery near Tiff City, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 24, 2023 at the funeral home.
