Helen Lowe

Helen L. Lowe, 93, of Sarcoxie, Mo departed this life on Friday, May 15, 2015 at Sarcoxie Nursing Center.

Helen entered this life on June 10, 1921 in rural Wentworth, Mo to the union of the late Charlie and Minnie (Spangler) Hatfield. She was united in marriage to Harry Lowe on March 10, 1941 and together they shared forty six years until his passing on October 31, 1987. She worked many years for Juvenile shoe factory. Helen was a lifelong resident of Sarcoxie. She enjoyed working, gardening, spending time with her family and friends and sewing, making many of her own clothes. She served several years on the Sarcoxie City Council and was a member of the Sarcoxie New Beginning Church of the Nazarene. Helen will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.

Helen is survived by two sons; Jim Lowe and wife Mary of Neosho, Mo and Randy Lowe and wife Dana of Seneca, Mo., six grandchildren; Kevin Lowe, Rusty Lowe, Chad Lowe, Christie Evans, Stacie Jones and Jeramy Lowe, elven great grandchildren, one sister; Nell Aleshire of Sarcoxie, Mo as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lowe are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2015 in the chapel of Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home in Sarcoxie, Mo with Pastor Wayne Rose officiating. Burial to follow in Sarcoxie, Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Volly Rose, Allan Rose, Carl Rose, Wesley “Dennie” Williams, Stan Pennington, Jeramy Lowe and Kevin Lowe. The family has directed memorial contributions be made to Sarcoxie Nursing Center Activities Department.
