Hadley Odell "Pood" Woodward, 93, Neosho, died Sept. 7, 2015 at Medicalodge in Neosho, following a sudden illness.
Hadley was born April 14, 1922 in Neosho and was a lifelong area resident. He served in the U.S. Marines during WW II. He served as co-owner and operator of Woodward Pallet in Neosho for over 50 years. Hadley enjoyed gardening and giving produce to family and friends. He attended the Swars Prairie Baptist Church.
Hadley is survived by two brothers, Howard Woodward and Dean Woodward and wife, Jan all of Neosho; numerous nieces and nephews and a special niece, ‘Baby-Baby’ – Jessica Poole of Neosho. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Amre (Acres) Woodward, brothers, Donald, Blackie, Gilbert, Lawrence and sisters, IvaDell and Daisy.
