Ernest Runé Jackson, 58 years, of Anderson, Missouri went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at his residence with his loving family by his side.
He was born on March 7, 1957 in Ft. Valley, Georgia to the late William Ernest and Georgina (Specht) Jackson. Runé married the love of his life, Pamela Elmore on January 9, 1982 in Irving, Texas and to this union a daughter was born. He was a professional truck driver, certified crane operator and a small business owner. Runé was a faithful member of the Anderson and Stella United Methodist Churches where his wife serves as Pastor. He loved his tractor and cherished time spent with his family.
Runé is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Pamela Jackson of the home; his daughter, Lindsay Ryan Jackson of Atlanta, Georgia; brother, Murry Jackson and his wife, Tina of Byron, Georgia; a sister, Sharon Evans of Ft. Valley, Georgia; several nieces and nephews; along with a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss Runé.
Memorial Services for Runé will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the United Methodist Church in Anderson, Missouri. Reverend Marilyn O'Brien will officiate. There will be a graveside service at the Oak Lawn Cemetery in Ft. Valley, Georgia on a later date. Memorial contributions in memory of Runé may be given to the McDonald County Backpack Program in care of the funeral home.
