Chad S. Carey, age 42, formally of Webb City, MO, now of Goldsboro, North Carolina, passed away peacefully in Saudi Arabia, where he was working.
Chad was born November 23, 1971 in Joplin to Alan and Sherri Williams Carey. He was a 1990 Webb City High School Graduate.
Chad married Amy Trail November 30, 1996 and she survives of the home. He is also survived by his children, Jacob and Katie Carey, Joshua McDaniel and Brianna Mischelle Naegle; a granddaughter, Nevaeh Marie Dwight; his mother, Sherri Carey; his brother, Brad Carey; paternal grandfather, William “Bill” Carey; maternal grandmother, Olive Bunch, nephews, Brayden and Zackary Carey, uncle Bill Carey of Kansas City; his aunts, Linda Cook, Brenda McKinley and Barbara Dunn as well as many cousins and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alan Carey, grandmother, Phyllis Carey and his uncle, Mike Carey.
Chad proudly and passionately served his country for 5 years in the United States Air Force.
He was a member of Church on the Rock in Goldsboro.
Chad loved spending time with his children and working around the house. He was a kind hearted and loving person. He was a great father to his children and husband to his wife. He was a loyal friend and loved by many. Chad will greatly be missed.
A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City.
