Aaron Johnson

Aaron Alan Johnson, age 27, Joplin, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017 at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri as a result of injuries sustained in an accident.

Aaron was born June 22, 1989 in Joplin, and grew up in Diamond and Neosho where he graduated from Neosho High School in 2007. He attended Crowder College, and worked in construction before going to work for F.A.G. where he worked from 2012 to 2016, at which time he went to work for Bemis Manufacturing in Webb City. Aaron loved to hike, run, hunt, kayak....if it was outside, he did it.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah L. Dunn Johnson of the home, parents, Chris Johnson of Diamond, and Robin Curless of Springfield; sister, Genoa Demery and husband Christopher of Sarcoxie, Missouri, brother, Andy Johnson of Springfield; paternal grandparents, Burney and Carol Johnson of Diamond, maternal grandmother, Sondra Golden of Neosho; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dale and Rebecca Dunn of McAllen, Texas; nephews, Aaden and Eli Demery.

In honor of his love of the outdoors, a Celebration of Aaron's Life will be held at the Redings Mill Bridge at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 10, 2017.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
