Marion Buttry

Mr. Marion Dale Buttry, 46, of Pineville, Missouri, departed this life on Sunday, May 28, 2017, in the comfort of his home, after a long battle with heart disease.

Marion entered this life on June 15, 1970, in Bentonville, Arkansas, born to the union of Kathy (Morgan) Buttry and the late JD Buttry. He was raised in Bentonville, Arkansas and was a 1988 graduate of Bentonville High School. Marion was a gifted mechanic throughout his life. For several years he was employed as a mechanic with Wal-Mart, eventually becoming manager of their fleet division. On March 25, 2002, he was united in marriage to Audra Colleen “Buffy” Farish and together they have shared the last fifteen years. They have resided in Pineville, Missouri since 2006. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and loved spending time under the hood of just about any vehicle.

Marion is survived by his wife, Buffy Buttry of the home; six children, Tara Facio and wife, Marissa, of Rogers, Arkansas, Steven Buttry and wife, Casey, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, Brittany Ashlock and husband, Jeremy, of Rogers, Shelby Stoecker and husband, Juno, of Pineville, Mallory Buttry of Pineville and Pvt. Kaleb Buttry also of Pineville; five grandchildren; his mother, Kathy Buttry of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; four brothers, Dexter Cochran and wife, Teresa, of Garfield, Arkansas, Micky Buttry of Centerton, Arkansas, Marty Buttry and wife, Michelle, of Avoca, Arkansas and his twin brother, Marvin Buttry and wife, Nancy, of Jane, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Buttry are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2017, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Bro. Bill Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the Pineville Cemetery. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Steven Buttry, Kaleb Buttry, Jeremy Ashlock, Juno Stoecker, Marty Buttry and Keith Bolen.
