Laura Hall

Mrs. Laura Paulette Hall, 65, of Neosho, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday evening, October 3, 2017, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Laura entered this life on July 18, 1952, in Tuscumbia, Missouri, daughter of the late Victor Edward and Mary (Wise) Skiles. She was raised and attended school in Wichita, Kansas. In July of 1983, she moved her family to Neosho, Missouri. For nearly twenty years she owned and operated Balloon and Party Attic in Neosho. She enjoyed cooking, decorating for events, sewing, crocheting, quilting and was an avid gardener. She loved being outside tending to her flowers and vegetables. Laura was a member of the Cornerstone Bible Church in Neosho.

Laura is survived by her three daughters, Sandy Choate and companion, Justin Baker, of Goodman, Missouri, Brandie Hall and wife, Mina Wagner, of Fairview, Missouri and Nicole Moore and husband, Bobby, of Goodman; five grandchildren; one great grandson; three siblings, Mary Ann Clift of Marshfield, Missouri, Jesse Edward Skiles of Kyle, Texas and Sharon Kay Dutcher of Augusta, Kansas; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hall are 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 6, 2017, at the Cornerstone Bible Church in Neosho, Missouri, 12645 Hammer Rd, Neosho, Missouri, with Bro. Terry Swagerty officiating. Burial will follow in the Gibson Cemetery in Neosho. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Bobby Moore, Justin Baker, Jesse Hall, Justin Choate, Colin Moore and Samuel Moore. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5-7:00 p.m. in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes.
