Alice Carnahan

Alice G. Carnahan, 87, Granby, MO, entered eternal rest on Nov. 21, 2018. She was born Oct. 3, 1931 in Granby to Jim and Janie (Hagewood) Gamble and was a lifelong resident of the city. Alice was a homemaker, a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church and the Ritchey Chicks. She liked to sew and do embroidery work and loved going to gospel singings and being with her family.

Alice and William A. (Bill) Carnahan were married April 3, 1953; he preceded her in death on Sept. 22, 2002. She is survived by four children: Janie Harris and husband, Earl, Karen Carnahan, Leslie Carnahan, and David Carnahan, all of Granby; three grandchildren: Jason Carnahan, Shayne Carnahan and Shayla Carnahan; and one great grandchild, Jacob Carnahan. In addition to her husband, Alice was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Crossno and one brother, Harold Lloyd Gamble.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018 at Clark Funeral Home, Granby Chapel, Granby, MO with Rev. Thomas Casady, II officiating.
Interment will follow at Kenney Cemetery, Neosho.
Visitation will be 5:00 until 7:00 pm, Monday, Nov. 26 at Clark Funeral Home, Granby Chapel.
