Sandra Rosetta Spears, 81, of Anderson, Missouri, was called to Heaven on Sunday, November 11, 2018, at the McDonald County Living Center in Anderson, Missouri.
Sandra was born on October 14, 1937 in Hoisington, Kansas, to the late Harold Larue and Henrietta (Lane) Mann. She had very fond memories of growing up in Temperance Valley just west of Goodman, Missouri. Sandra worked at La-Z-Boy in Neosho, Missouri for 27 years. She enjoyed being outdoors and loved all animals, especially horses, riding them in many parades alongside her grandchildren. Her favorite horse was named Comanche. Sandra was instrumental in starting the Hilltop Mission Church in Anderson, Missouri, where she was a charter member.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Farrell Harris and a sister, Faye Courange.
Sandra is survived by her sons, Kenny Spears and wife, Mona, Steve Spears and wife, Michelle, Donnie Spears and wife, Amanda; ten grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; three siblings, Jerry Mann, LaVaughn Wiley and Mickie Burrowes; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Sandra.
Graveside services for Sandra Spears will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the Banner Cemetery in Goodman, Missouri with Donnie Spears officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home.
