Ron Ballinger

Mr. Ronald Charles “Ron” Ballinger, 71, of Neosho, Missouri, departed this life on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at the Veterans Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas, after a recent battle with cancer.

Ron entered this on February 21, 1947, in Oildale, California, son of the late Charles and Margie (English) Ballinger. He was raised and graduated high school in Oildale. Ron resided in Jennings, Oklahoma for several years where he worked in the oil fields. In 1990 he moved to Grove, Oklahoma and later to Neosho, Missouri, in 2009. Ron was a kind and generous man. He enjoyed woodworking projects and was a proud veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his love of his life, Andrea Coffee on October 11, 2018; a stepson, Troy Coffee; and a brother, Steve Ballinger.

Ron is survived by his three children, Mikel Coffee, Nora Goff and Kendra Coffee all of Neosho, Missouri; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Ballinger will be held graveside on Monday, December 3, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri, with full military honors.
