Michella ‘Shelly’ L. Duncan was born December 9, 1962 in Dexter, Missouri, the daughter of Herman and Winona (Cline) Riggins.
She entered into rest on November 5, 2018 at her home in Neosho, following an extended illness at the age of 55.
Shelly lived most of her life in the southwest Missouri area and had worked at LaBarge in Joplin; Kraft Foods in Bentonville, AR and at Jasper Foods in Joplin. Her grandchildren was the light of her life.
Shelly and Lonnie Duncan were married on July 17, 1981 in Neosho and he survives of the home.
Additional survivors include three children, Lyndsay Andrews and husband, Jason of Gentry, AR; Abagail Duncan of Bentonville, AR and Cory Duncan of Neosho; her step father, Jerry Price of Fairview; one sister, Lisa Ramirez of Roundrock, TX; a half sister, Teresa Loncarich of Fairview; a step sister, Patty Ethridge of Nixa, MO; two step brothers, Danny Gaughn of Vancouver, WA and David Gaughn of San Diego, CA and seven grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Herman Riggins, her mother, Winona Cline Price and a step brother, Mark Price.
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 1 pm at the John Q. Hammons Community Center in Fairview, Missouri.
