Lois Jean Rowan, age 90 passed away at 4:10 pm, Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Webb City Health and Rehabilitation, following an illness.
Lois was born May 15, 1928 in England Ar. Her parents were Oscar and Exie (Williams) Earnhart. She had lived in Webb City the past six years moving from California.
While in California, she worked as a supervisor at Del Monte Cannery in Kingsburg. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Dinuba, CA. She enjoyed quilting with the church ladies, and would walk everywhere she would go since she never learned to drive a car.
Lois was last married to Joe E. Rowan in 1993 in Dinuba, CA. He passed away July, 2000. She was also preceded in death by one son, Johnny Capps, her twin brother, Dois Earnhart, and her sister Eunice Rochelle.
She is survived by two sons, Bobby Capps, Selma, CA and Jerry Capps, Pittsburg, KS; two daughters, Barbara Capps, Pittsburg, KS and Jean Oliver, Joplin, MO; one brother, Raymond Earnhart, Shirley, AR; 8 grandchildren, Jeana Baraga, Dana Christian, Jody Parnell, Tonya Stephens, Eric Capps, Robert Gapen, Phillip Gapen, and Trina Capps; and several great-grandchildren.
She was entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena KS for cremation. The family will schedule a burial in England AR at a later date.
