Charles Brock

Charles Douglas Brock, 79, Neosho, entered eternal rest on November 13, 2018 after a sudden illness.

 He was born March 18, 1939 in Granby, MO to J O and Velma (Brown) Brock. Charles served as a Minister of the Gospel and his ministry was part of everything he did. He lived five years in Texas, moved to Minnesota for four years, then went to the Philippines for twenty years, serving as a missionary, before returning to Neosho in 1991. Charles was President of Church Growth International, and was a member of Pioneer Baptist Church, where he also served as Pastor. 

 Charles and Dottie F. Richardson were married June 8, 1958 in Stella, MO; she survives of the home. He is also survived by three sons: Douglas Brock and wife, Betty, Christopher Brock and wife, Violeta, and Greg Brock and wife, Mary; one brother, Paul Brock and wife, Rita; two sister-in-laws, Ronna Brock and Boneta Brock; fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Services will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church, Neosho, with Dr. Toby DeHay and Rev. Tim Pruit officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be 4:30 until 6:30 pm Monday, November 19, 2018 at Clark Funeral Home, Granby Chapel, Granby, MO.

The family requests contributions in honor of Charles be made to Church Growth International for the purchase of “Good News For You” (the Red Books), c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 26, Granby, MO 64844.

  1. Dr. Charles Brock would like all to learn truth. Start with Good News For You, and precede. Groups love this.

    The best memorial is to train others in what he trained us.
