Carl Allen Berry, 77, Neosho, entered into rest on Nov. 27, 2018 at Medicalodge in Neosho, following an extended illness.
Carl was born Dec. 4, 1940 in Newton County, the son of William A. and Nellie (McIlvaine) Berry.
He graduated from Neosho High School and had served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed being outside and working on the farm. He was a member of Silver Moon Full Gospel Church.
Carl and Kathleen Sharon Cates were married on June 28, 1980 in Diamond and she preceded him in death on Aug. 2, 2016.
Carl is survived by one brother, Jerry Berry of Neosho; one sister, Wanna Lea Heck of Sand Springs, OK; sister in law, Cecilia Magoffin of Lamar and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
Memorial graveside services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018 at 10 am at Diamond Cemetery, Pastor Phil Barber will officiate.
