(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Elbert “Bert” W. Finley, 59, of Carthage, Missouri, passed away at his home on May 12, 2022. Elbert was born on October 21, 1962 to Bud Finley and Margaret “Tipping” Cobaugh in Carthage, Missouri.
He was a lifetime resident of Carthage and worked for Schrader’s Towing Company. Bert enjoyed watching wrestling and true crime shows in his free time.
He is survived by one son, Jonathan Finley of Carthage; one daughter, Rebecca Colibert of Carthage; his father Bud Finley; step-mother, Francis Finley; two brothers, David Finley and John Tipping; three sisters, Barbara Finley, Margaret Wooldridge, and Carol Cobaugh; four grandchildren, Trevor, Skyler, River, and Legacy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bert is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret “Tipping” Cobaugh, and his step-father, Kenneth Ray Cobaugh.
