(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Annemarie Wagner-Negron, age 71, passed away peacefully in her sleep, after a short illness, on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. Anne was born on February 28, 1952 in Holzheim, Germany to Heinrich and Lilli Wagner.
Anne had a love for nature and old homes, and a special gift for animals, specifically those who had been neglected or abused. While living in Cassville, MO, she worked for Haven of the Ozarks Animal Sanctuary, where she loved and nursed many animals back to health.
Anne leaves behind four sons: Michael Pugh of Schonaich, Germany; Jason Pugh of Holzheim, Germany; Jose and Amy Negron of Goodyear, AZ, Joshua and Ashley Negron of Joplin, MO; one daughter; Naomi Negron and James Parks of Joplin, MO; three grandchildren; Celina Pugh, Zoe Pugh and Kiera Negron; one sister: Anja Pithan of Giessen, Germany.
She was preceded in death by son Randy, her parents, and brother Karl-Heinz “Billi” Wagner.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday June 26, 2023 at Mason-Woodard Mortuary Joplin, Mo.
