He was born in 1964 in the country of Laos.
He married his wife Paa Vang on March 15th 1988. They have five children: two sons and three daughters.
His father and mother respectively are Bouafue Lee and Joua Xiong. His father and mother-in-law are Nyiaj Xyooj Vaj and Xyos Yaj. He moved to Missouri with his family to raise turkeys for over twenty years.
