Jessica Mott

(From Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home)

Jessica Elaine Haworth-Mott, age 34, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 8:20 p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, after a very tough battle with Cancer surrounded by her family and friends. She was born March 6, 1989, at Dr. George’s office in Mt. Vernon, Missouri.

Jessica was a 2008 graduate of Crane High School in Crane, Missouri. She worked at Walmart in Mt. Vernon, as a sales clerk and later moved onto Jack Henry in Monett, Missouri.

Jessica loved the great outdoors almost as much as she loved her family, and while she was a very outgoing person, she could also be incredibly reserved. But nothing out ranked her family whom she was completely devoted too. She found the love of her life Charles Mott and married him on June 1, 2018, in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and who she had two beautiful children with.

Jessica is survived by her husband, Charles and their two children who reside in the home Layla Mott and RJ Mott; four brothers, James “Bo” Haworth and his wife, Kathleen and their children of Billings, Missouri, Jack Haworth of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, Rusty Mullins and his daughter, Sophie of DeSoto, Missouri, and Jerry Woods of Monett, Missouri; two sisters, Sue Carlile and her children of Monett, Missouri and Isabella Collins of Aurora, Missouri; her father, James Brent Haworth and his wife, Chrystal, of Aurora, Missouri; her mother, Martha Perriman of Sarcoxie, Missouri; two grandmothers, Ruby Perriman of Springfield, Missouri and Cynthia Whitney of Aurora, Missouri; her best friend / sister Rene Behrle and Charles Henley and their children of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jessica was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leona Elaine Perigen-MidKiff and husband Richard “Slim Pickens” Midkiff; her grandfathers, Jimmie Rogers Haworth of Joplin, Missouri, and Jerry Perriman of Asbury, Missouri.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 23, 2023, at the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at the Orange Cemetery north of Aurora.

Her final wish was that there be a huge celebration of life barbeque in her honor. So, after the graveside services on Saturday, please bring your favorite dish, favorite memories and a chair and come help the family celebrate her life as she wished at 1313 South Pine Road, Billings, Missouri. She said No tears! She wanted to hear us all laughing all the way to heaven and celebrating the wonderful life she had in the short time we had with her. Everyone is Welcome.
