Kevin Dame

Mr. Kevin Douglas Dame, 61, of Stotts City, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family.

Kevin was born on Tuesday, December 19, 1961 in Joplin, Missouri, to the union of Hubert and Rachael Marie (Boswell) Dame. Kevin was a graduate of Sarcoxie High School. After graduation he proudly served in the United States Army. 








On October 10, 1992 he was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Loida. Together they shared thirty years of wonderful memories. Kevin retired from WestRock of Joplin, Missouri as a forklift operator. He was a member of Sarcoxie First Baptist Church. Kevin loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter. He also enjoyed fishing, his wood working shop and decorating their home for Christmas, always having a huge display. Kevin will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Dame; paternal and maternal grandparents.








Kevin is survived by his wife, Patty of the home; daughter, Tasha Dame (Jamie Pennington); granddaughter, Kinslee Pennington; mother, Marie Dame, of Carthage, Missouri; siblings, Becky Swift and husband, Bob, of Carthage, Lisa Cobaugh and husband, Jerry, of Carthage, Scott Dame and wife, Donna, of Diamond and Abby Merrill and husband, Dennis, of Oklahoma City; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

The family will have a celebration of life at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 30, 2023 at Sarcoxie First Baptist Church in Sarcoxie with Pastor Cody Dowell officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be directed to Children’s Youth Ministry Mission in care of Sarcoxie First Baptist Church.
