(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Larry Ford, 65, of Carthage, Missouri, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023, at home. Larry was born May 10, 1958, in Carthage, Missouri to Larry E. Ford and Linda (Ralston) Ford. Larry retired from the railroad. He attended Fairview Christian Church in Carthage. Larry enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was an avid outdoorsman and river rat.
Larry was united in marriage to Barbara Althof October 2, 1998, in Miami, Oklahoma; she survives.
Larry is survived by his wife, Barbara Ford; two sons, Nick Ford of Carthage, Missouri and Justin Long of Jasper, Missouri; three daughters, Jennie Dalton (Lester) of Carthage, Missouri, Brittany Sargent (Isaac) of Jasper, Missouri, and Michelle Ford; his mother, Linda (Ralston) Kinney; three brothers, Dr. Lance Ford (Teressa) of Carthage, Missouri, Lindell Ford of Joplin, Missouri, and Tucker Ford (Stacie) of Michigan; one sister, Leslie Quarton (Todd) of Carthage, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Larry is preceded in death by his father, Larry E. Ford.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
