(From Brown-Winters Funeral Home)Kurt Edward Myers, 53, a resident of Afton, Oklahoma passed away at his home on Thursday, July 21, 2022. Kurt was born on February 19, 1969, in Lawrence, Kansas to Ned Myers Sr. and Glenda (Duncan) Martin.
Kurt was a mechanic by trade and loved to work on cars. Even when he was not able to work on them, he would always have advice for anyone who would listen. Kurt also loved his computer games and to play them online.
Most of all he loved his daughter Joni Myers. Kurt was also there as a grandfather figure to many others.
Kurt was preceded in death by his father Ned Myers Sr.
Those left to share his memory is his daughter Joni Myers of Neosho, Missouri, his mother Glenda Martin of Afton, brother Ned Myers Jr. of Miami, and sister Michelle Sweeten of Afton.
Kurt’s wishes were to be cremated and services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
