Bob Little

Robert ‘Bob’ Q. Little, Neosho, entered into rest on July 29, 2022 in the comfort of his home at the age of 90. 

Bob was born April 5, 1932 in Midway, Kansas, near Pittsburg, Kansas. He graduated from Pittsburg High School, class of 1950 and continued his education at KSTC, now Pitt State and received a bachelor's degree in in education and a master's degree in Math and Physics. He served in the U.S. Army, October, 1954 to September, 1956. 








He taught for two years at El Dorado Junior college before moving to Neosho in 1959. He worked at Rocketdyne, Teledyne and Saberliner as an engineer in rocket engine production. 

After retirement, Bob enjoyed spending time on woodworking projects, and serving as an observer for the National Weather Service, for which he was awarded a certificate of appreciation. Bob was a member of the Seneca Church of Christ. 

On August 12, 1956 in Galesburg, Kansas, Bob and Loucille Hughes were united in marriage and she survives of the home. 

In addition to his wife of 65 years, he is survived by four children, Kimberly Michel and husband, Keith, Kent H. Little and wife, Laurie, Kirk R. Little and Kyle L. Little; three grandchildren, Nicklaus Little and wife, Danielle, Dustin Little and wife, Natalie and Zachary Little; two great grandchildren, Ryan Little and Cadence Little. 








In addition to his parents, Carl Leroy and Edna Pearl (Wilson) Little, he is preceded in death by his eight siblings. 

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, August 5, 2022 at 2 pm at the Clark Funeral Home, Chapel of Memories, Neosho. Jake King will officiate. Interment will follow in the New Salem Cemetery, west of Neosho. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday from 1 pm until service time at the funeral home.
