Jerry Haught

Jerry Lee Haught was born December 8, 1946, in Wheaton, Missouri, one of three sons to Treva E. and Molinda (Reynolds) Haught. He entered into rest on July 26, 2022, following an accident at his home at the age of seventy-five. 

 
Jerry was a lifelong area resident and had worked as an over the road truck driver until his retirement. He was an entrepreneur and owned and operated Jerry’s CafĂ© on the south side of the square in the 1970s and later flipped houses and owned rental houses and apartments in Neosho. 








He was an avid motorcycle rider and fisherman and he especially enjoyed spending time with family. Jerry was a member of the Rocketdyne Road Church of Christ. 

On June 1, 1965, Jerry, and Diane (Stevens) were united in marriage in Neosho and she survives of the home. 

In addition to his wife of 57 years, Jerry is survived by two children, Sherry Guidry and husband, Jim, Steve Haught, and wife, Juli; one brother, Benny Haught and wife, Linda; brother-in-law, Steve Stevens and wife, Kathy; five grandchildren, Jamie Guidry, Steven Guidry, Jennifer Henderson, Makinzie Haught and Morgan Haught and four great grandchildren. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Duane Haught. 








Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022, at 2 pm at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Denny Kruse will officiate. Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery, south of Neosho. The family will receive friends at a time of visitation Friday, from 1 pm until service time.
