(From Clark Funeral Home)Erma Shellenberger, age 85 of Neosho, entered into rest on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at her home. Erma was born November 21, 1936, in Neosho, the daughter of William S. and Lillian V. (Middleton) Huffman. She graduated from Neosho High School and was a homemaker.
Erma enjoyed being outside, taking care of her cats and working with her husband, Fred in their family business. She was a member of Belfast Baptist Church.
On August 5, 1961, in Neosho, Missouri, Erma married Fred Shellenberger and Fred preceded her in death on March 23, 2017.
Erma is survived by two daughters, Freda Gail Bowman and husband, Norman of Wichita, Kansas and Karen Jean Swain and husband, Keith of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma: two grandchildren, Jeremy Witte, and Jessica Swain and two great grandchildren, Alyssa and Bradley.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Joe Allen Shellenberger; a sister, Mae Richards and three brothers, Everett, Coy and Arlis Huffman.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, July 22, 2022, at 2 pm at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Pastor Ric Stigman will officiate. Interment will follow in the Belfast Cemetery.
