Benjamin Charles Barickman, 83, Neosho, died Aug. 27, 2014 at his home, following an illness.
Ben was born Feb. 19, 1931 in Bates County, MO. He served in the U. S. Air Force, 1950-1953 and then was self- employed in the construction industry. He enjoyed gardening and was an ordained Minister and a member of the Gospel Lighthouse Church.
Ben married Mary (Pogue) Powers on June 19, 1992 in Neosho and she survives. Also surviving are a step daughter, Romelda Patterson and husband, Terry, Goodman; three grandchildren, Phillip Patterson and wife, Bridgett, Michael Patterson and wife, Melody and Angela Hines and husband, Brandon and seven great grandchildren.
