William Clymer Stout, age 69 of Joplin, passed away at his home at 9:17 p.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2014.
Born July 1, 1945 in Joplin, he was the son of the late Abram and Sophia Binz Stout and was a lifetime Joplin resident. A graduate of Joplin Senior High School, he worked for Sperry Vickers, Inc. as a machinist. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1963 to 1966.
On October 29, 1966, he married Mary Johnson in Joplin. She survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Michael Stout of Joplin; a daughter, Heather Cozad of Joplin; a grandson, Collin Cozad; and a granddaughter, Devin Stout.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
