Louise Ellison, 79, Diamond, died Aug. 11, 2014 at her home in Diamond, surrounded by family, after a lengthy illness.
Louise was born Dec. 23, 1934 in Whitehall, AR and moved to Diamond in 1959 from Oklahoma City, OK. She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting and embroidery. Louise had a strong desire to feed everyone and was a very courteous, generous and hospitable person. She was a member of TOPS and a member of the Diamond Christian Church.
Louise and Fred Ellison, Sr. were married on October 18, 1952 in Harrisburg, AR and he preceded her in death on Nov. 25, 2003. She is survived by six children, Fred Ellison, Jr. and wife, Judy, Mike Ellison and wife, Katie, James Ellison, Kathy Heckmaster and husband, Ed, Mary Ellison-West and husband, Avery, and Robert Ellison; one brother, Charlie Goad and wife, Kathleen; one sister, Ann House and husband, John; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a son, Mark and a daughter, Barbara. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
