On August 9, 2014, pain got to be too much for Randy, so he gave his life to God in a most regretful way.
We will never be able to see his smile again or sit with him on a river bank with a rod and reel in his hand. He was an excellent fisherman and loved spoon billing on Grand Lake. He was a hard worker at anything he did. Randy will be missed by all who knew him.
He leaves behind his parents, George N. and Faye Ileen Gary of Joplin; two sisters, Diana Hulstine of Joplin, and Denise Patterson and husband Loyd of Carl Junction, Mo.; two nephews, Nicholas Patterson and wife Crystal and their daughter, Elizabeth all of Carl Junction, Mo. and Nathan Gary of Joplin; one niece, Emily Patterson of Fayetteville, Ar. He was preceded in death by a sister, Vickie Gary in 1960. We love you son.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Pastor Johnny Adkins will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
