Johnny Johnson

Johnny L. Johnson, 81, Granby, died August 4, 2014 at Freeman West Hospital, following a short illness.

 Johnny was born May 19, 1933 in Ritchey, MO, the son of Joe and Florence (Hilker) Johnson. He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He worked at Rocketdyne / Teledyne for over 20 years and then worked as a rural mail carrier. He was an avid collector of many things, a member of and Past Master of the Granby Masonic Lodge No. 514 and a member of Ritchey Baptist Church. 

Johnny and Rexine (Prier) were married on May 10, 1954 in Fairbanks, Alaska and she survives. Also surviving are two children, Ted Alan Johnson and wife, Billie, Webb City and Andrew Joseph Johnson and wife, Angela, Joplin; four grandchildren, Miranda, Chandler, Dillon and Devon Johnson; two brothers, Orville Johnson and Don Johnson, both of Chula Vista, CA and a sister, Carolyn Rogers, Carthage. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Hailey Johnson and sister, Phyllis Jackson.

MEMORIAL SERVICE
Thursday August 7, 2014, 6:30 PM at Clark Funeral Home Granby Chapel
Interment: Granby Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
FOLLOWING THE SERVICE , THERE WILL BE A MASONIC SERVICE AND THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS FOLLOWING THE SERVICES UNTIL 8:00 PM
