Karen ‘Sue’ Graves, age 64, Joplin, passed away at 7:30 p.m. Monday, August 18, 2014 at Freeman West Hospital after an illness.
Sue was born January 14, 1950 in Joplin to the late Russell E. Crane and Lois Howard Crane and had lived in the Joplin area all of her life.
She worked as a supervisor for the former Murray Guard Security Company for 12 years. She was also a licensed beautician.
She married Emmanuael Graves on April 16, 1971 in Joplin. He survives at the home.
Additional survivors include a son, Eddie Joe Johnson, Riverton, Kansas; three grandchildren, Megan Johnson, Kelsie Johnson, Ryan Johnson; four siblings, Everett Crane, Danny Crane, Robert Crane, Mable Ellen Lindquist; and many other extended family members.
Sue has been taken for cremation.
Memorial services are planned for a later date.
