Lou Etta "Lucy" Ethel Sharp, age 82 of Galena, Kansas passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Galena Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Lou Etta was born March 03, 1932 to the late Clem and Evah Uthe Dilley in Gallatin, Missouri. She worked for both La Barge and Eagle Picher in Joplin until retiring in 1998. Afterwards she moved to Texas and retired.
She is survived by one daughter, Judy White of Springdale, Arkansas and a son, Gary Thornton and wife Ellyce of La Port, Texas; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Lou Etta was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Mary Matthews.
No service will be planned at this time per Lou Etta's wish.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
