Bonnie Locke

Bonnie K. Locke, 81, Neosho, died October 3, 2016 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, following a short illness. 

 Bonnie was born April 30, 1935 in Joplin, the daughter of Clarence and Ruth (McCombs) Taylor. She lived most of her life in the Seneca and Neosho area and had worked at J.C. Penney in Joplin as a payroll clerk. She then co-owned Furniture West Manufacturer with her husband, Leroy and retired in 1993. Bonnie was an avid seamstress and loved making quilts and she loved spending time and being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the Neosho Area Widow to Widow Club and a member of the Neosho First Baptist Church. 

 Bonnie married Leroy Locke on February 8, 1957 in Seneca and he preceded her in death on November 3, 2015. She is survived by two children, Rhonda Calton and husband, Craig and Brad Locke and Elizabeth Jones all of Neosho; four grandchildren, Cassie (Darren) Charlton; Rachelle (Zeb) Morlok; Nick (Cheynne) Calton and Dustin Locke and four great grandchildren, Cooper and Coleman Charlton, Allison Calton and Delanie Morlok. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Dean Taylor.

Services will be Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016 at 10 am at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Dr. Todd Decker will officiate. Interment will follow in the Seneca Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Nick Calton, Dustin Locke, Darren Charlton, Darron Locke, Kevin Locke and Cooper Charlton. Friends may call at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho on Friday from 9 am until 6:30 pm and the family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:30 to 6:30 at the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Bonnie may be made to the Neosho First Baptist Church Building Fund or Neosho Shrine Club Travel Fund, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66; Neosho, MO 64850.

Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO.
